 Dennis Franck is an energetic speaker communicating the promises, hope, and unconditional love of the Lord with a positive and personable approach. With a heart of compassion for single and single-again adults, as well as understanding the issues of young adults and single adults, he emphasizes the absolute necessity to become a whole person spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Dennis is well received by groups of all ages, lifestyles, and denominational backgrounds.
Dennis and his four younger siblings grew up in a Pastor’s home in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He attended Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota and graduated with a major in Music and minors in Psychology and Business. During his college years at Dakota Wesleyan, Dennis met Jill, who later became his wife while attending North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. He earned a Masters Degree in Christian Ministries from the Assemblies of God Seminary in Springfield, MO in 2007.
He ministered as a Youth and Music pastor for 4 years before beginning 15 years as a full-time Singles Pastor in three churches. Subsequently Dennis was an associate pastor for 6 years with an emphasis in Single Adult Ministries. He has spoken at area, regional, and national single adult and young adult conferences and retreats sponsored by churches of various denominations.
Dennis has written many articles on the issues of single adult living and ministry to/with them in “The Pentecostal Evangel”, “Enrichment”, “The Christian Education Counselor”, “Single Adult Ministry Journal” and other publications. He is a past Board Member of the Network of Single Adult Leaders (NSL) and contributed two chapters to NSL's first book entitled Singles Ministry Handbook. In addition, he has written a chapter in the devotional book entitled, Single to Single, a chapter in the book Counseling Single Adults, and completed his first book, Reaching Single Adults-An Essential Guide for Ministry, which was released in January 2007 by Baker Books.
Dennis and Jill have two children, Tim and Jessica. His spare time is spent enjoying jazz, his family, and singing and playing the piano. Dennis is gifted vocally and on the keyboard, both of which enhance his speaking ministry.
Dennis was appointed the National Director of Single Adult/Young Adult Ministries for the Assemblies of God in Springfield, MO in July of 2000. His ministry there includes the development of Single Adult/Young Adult Ministries on the district, regional and national level. |
